Good product for the price December 3, 2008 D. Jenkins (USA) I have a BlackBerry 8800 and wanted to listen to music in the car via my AUX port (3.5 connection). There are known issues with the 2.5 to 3.5 connectors and getting speakers, other than headphones, to work properly. The typical issue was only audio could be heard out of the left channel. I did some research and found BlackBerry's Music Gatewway but wasn't willing to pay $50+ for the device. Came across this Jenson device for $17 and figured for the price it was worth a shot. I was very happy when I go the device and paired with my 8800 and had stereo music via my car stereo. The device has a built in battery that is charged via USB or the provided AC adapter. The battery life is ok, I get about 3 days of usage, 2.5 hrs per day to and from work. That's not spectacular but its easy to charge and doesn't take more than an hour to complete. As for the audio that traverses this device, it sounds pretty good. Keep in mind garbage in, garabage out, so if you have crappy/low quality/bitrate mp3s then is not going to sound any better through this. I did notice that sometimes songs sound a bit heavier or lighter which maybe outside interference to the bluetooth or the battery running down or just that the device does influence the output to some degree. Ocassionally the music clips, quick break in the music, but that doesn't happen often and isn't too noticeable. Anyway, this device solved a problem for me and if your looking to send audio from your mobile device to an amplified speaker out put this will work great for you. I'm sure that it works great for a wireless headphone connection too but that is not how I'm using it so I can't comment. Hope this review helped.
