Click to enlarge. | The Agent18 company spans back many generations of music device protection, starting with its founder, Wilhelm von Agent, maker of the first glass harp cover back in 1579. More than 300 years later, the family business was passed onto Vesputi Virginina-Agent, an Italian cousin and inventor of the first wooden phonograph cover (Il Protectoro del Fonopodo) back in 1888. He took the business with him to America, where his great grandson eventually created the aluminum record player cover in 1957. As technology flew forward, so did the Agent family's music protection... with the Rubber Jukebox Glove, the Cover-man for Walkmen, and the neon Ka-boom Box Plastic Dome. Now, 18 of the descendents of Wilhelm von Agent live and work at Agent18. Headquarters are located in the attic of the Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles, Calif., where Agent18 creates breakthrough protection for music devices and other electronics accessories for the world. Okay, the real truth is that Agent18 is just a bunch of nerdy engineers that spend a lot of time with their iPods, cameras, PSPs, and computers, and protecting those gadgets is important to them. All of Agent18 products are designed in sunny Southern California, or on a plane, or sometime when one of the Agent18 team members is out running in the park! Agent18's goal is to design products that its employees would use for products that they love. They hope you will like the products as well. Welcome to Agent protection.

No complaints February 24, 2008 Jan U (Denver, CO United States) Bought this for my wife for her new ipod nano. She loves it. Provides great protection without being to bulky.
Agent 18 is the best January 26, 2008 Shawn Collins (Portland, OR USA) I purchased an Agent 18 shield for my 30GB and loved it so much I had to get one for my new nano as well. The hard case fits PERFECTLY to the unit leaving only the necessary ports and the dial wheel exposed. It's hard plastic and protects perfectly. My ipods have been beaten and abused but when I take them out of the case they still look new. The only slightly negative thing I can think of to say about the hard case is that I have to take it out of the case in order to plug it into my car adapter or home player.
Good Case January 22, 2008 Marc M. Ponzio 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this case for my Girlfriend who recently purchased a nano. It is very simple, very straight forward, and it works. There are cases out there where the screen pops out of the case or the screen is made of a plastic slip cover. This is not that type of deal. This case is made of 2 pieces, one is the front and the other is the backing. The front piece includes a completely translucent screen cover and a hole for the click wheel. The back is just a backing. The seem for the two pieces is along the edge of the nano and it fits snugly. In case you are wondering, for colored nanos, you can still see the color through the clear version of this case. The only reason I didn't give this thing a 5 star rating is because they don't use as thick of a plastic as one might assume from the pictures. That being said, my girlfriend has already dropped the nano with the case and it protected quite well. So, I'd suggest you get this if you don't want a cumbersome or restrictive case.
Good Case December 27, 2007 J. Gomes (Cincinnati, Ohio) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this for my daughter to protect her iPod Nano and it seems to do the job. Not sure what the first reviewer is whining about since the case is exactly what the photos show. It is frosted everywhere except the screen and a rectangle in the back to show off the iPod logo.
Perfect case for 3G Nano November 6, 2007 Blue Machine (Minneapolis, MN) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This case is awesome! I've always liked Agent 18 products because they are well-made and provide a good fit. The case is well-designed at the bottom so it slips into most standard docks. I don't know what the other reviewer is complaining about. I think it is quite clear from the pictures that the case is frosted/translucent (for scratch protection) with a clear screen protector.
