My son loves this... January 6, 2009 A. Gallagher (GA) This MP3 is well worth the money! I'm so grateful that I don't have to hear the thumping from his stereo in his room anymore. Now I get to hear him "singing and/ or rapping".
Small and amazing January 3, 2009 J. Plopper (Griffith, IN) This mp3 player may be small but it works better than the big ones. It stays charged for a long period of time and it is durable to use during workouts.
Easy To Use Even for A Novice January 2, 2009 RHC (IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had been researching MP3 player for a while, and finally decided on this one. (My last MP3 player was an iriver, only 256 MB, although it is great and still works well) I am glad I asked for this for Christmas. I was able to quickly load songs from my computer using windows media player. Download is fast and simple. I did go to the sansa website to learn how to load groups of songs in a file, and was able to do that also. So I have separate files of music (workout section, etc). The radio is very easy to work and to store your presets. The radio gets good reception. The clip came mostly charged up and then charged quickly. Would recommend a better set of ear clips. Great product. Thanks Santa (husband)!
could be easier to use December 29, 2008 Michael E.Dorsey (Lancaster county,Pa.) This item very difficult to use and set up transferring to or from FM mode and selecting items to down load and downloading is a real trip sometinmes it does hang up sometimes and it makes it discourging to use. However once it is working in what is wanted it works ok as far as the sound quality for a small a unit as that is. the process of downloading is it could be made more user friendly as some of its competitors. The fm tuner is very impressive for such a small unit; better than I expected. My greatest complaint is it not an easy one to use.
Nice and simple and good for Linux December 29, 2008 David C. Guertin Got this player for my 8yo daughter. Perfect. We also use Linux, and when the Sansa is plugged into the usb, it is similar to an external drive. Just drag and drop audio files. I've poked around with the settings a bit, and it seems to be fully featured, compared to other comparably priced mp3 players which don't have FM, folder views or other ease-of-use features.
