Need older model as a runner July 29, 2010 Sandra R. Gardner (Kansas City) The newer model doesn't seem to have kept runners in mind, with the non clip-on design and the volume control on the headset. Not only does it force you to keep the apple headset, but it also takes on sweat and shorts out quickly and easily. This model is perfect for runners.
Apple iPod Shuffle February 1, 2010 L. Jackson This worked great and stays charged for an extended amount of time. I use it doing yard work and work around the house all of the time. Nice. Holds a lot of music for extended playtime.
Nice gift! October 20, 2009 Paula Jacobson (Sioux Falls SD USA) This was a gift for my sister and she loves it. She's not technically savey but finds this very easy to use. It's a great iPod for a techno newby!
I love my Shuffle! June 22, 2009 Miss Margaret Picky (NYC) What is there to say about the iPod shuffle that hasn't already been said in the other 300+ reviews?
So here are the five things *I* like best about it:
It's small and lightweight and goes right into my shirt pocket.
It's inexpensive so if i lose or break it or if it is stolen no big deal.
I can use the controls without looking at it.
It holds just the right amount of music.
Sand doesn't mess it up at the beach.
The charge lasts a long time.
Okay, so that's six.
Anyway, I've had my shuffle for 2 1/2 years and I still love it.
Great for the gym. June 9, 2009 Max Edwards (Nashville, Tennessee United States) This is my first Ipod and it's better than I expected. The sound is very cd like. You can play the songs as you arrange them with the I tunes software or use the shuffle feature to mix up your playlist. The player is very portable and is great for use at the gym.
