Great product January 9, 2009 Michael Tiday (Colstrip, MT) I actually used this to connect a MAC to a wireless network. Product is good for more than just gaming!
Great for wireless printer adaption. January 6, 2009 I. Hodge I connected this adapter to the ethernet input on a Canon MX700 printer. The adapter immediately recognized the adapter and the printer and allowed all users in the unit to share the printer over the wireless network. Would highly recommend this adapter.
Great little wireless adapter December 27, 2008 usaf_drew (Middle GA) This is a great adapter. I use it to tie a computer I use in the garage to my wireless g network running WPA PSK. Before I was using a cheapo wireless g card bought on Ebay and that thing sucked big time. I like to stream music from a NAS device so I can have some tunes while working in the garage. With the cheapo wireless card, music would skip and transfer speed would be next to nothing. With this adapter, music never skips and transfer speed is incredibly fast. I can even stream music, browse internet and move files all without skipping music. Setting up the adapter was super easy. There is one button to auto connect to the router and once you're connected you can set up the security. I have used this for about a week but I have had absolutely no problems so far. It does get a little warm under heavy traffic, but nothing to be concerned about. Warning - says it's not compatible with Vista, but you don't even need the software since it has a web interface, so I wouldn't worry about that. In the picture it shows 2 antennas, but the unit only has one. It gets great signal with just one though.
Good buy for the price December 24, 2008 Hemal Bhuptani (SUNNYVALE, CA United States) It's a good buy for the twenty bucks I paid for it. Has problems connecting to a DLINK router though. Other routers accept it fine.
as simple as it gets December 21, 2008 P. Carley (Florida) I ordered this for my PS3 20 GB game system because it did not have wireless capabilities. I literally plugged it into the Playstation 3, turned it on and it started working. Recommended.
